We are looking for a plant supervisor that is capable of mobilizing, supporting and leading the production team to achieve the established objectives in a safe and healthy work environment. Some experience in a lean manufacturing environment is certainly a great tool to have in this position to improve the efficiency of our production processes. You will supervise production and loading activities, while ensuring equipment maintenance. This is an opportunity to develop your leadership skills and become an asset in the management team at Berger.

OVERVIEW OF THE WORK:

As a plant supervisor, you will do daily plant tours, work closely with the production team and implement various measures to ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards. One of your first mandate will be to implement KPI’s with your team and to be a strong advocate of continuous improvement. You will maintain rolling stock and plant equipment as well as manage input supplies and analyze production costs. It is part of your role to be out there, on the ground, to support your team.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

The position requires knowledge of written and spoken English, bilingualism is an asset (Spanish and English). You hold a degree in a relevant field and have significant staff management experience. You also have experience in systems and preventive maintenance, and 3 to 5 years experience in similar functions. If you have knowledges in lean manufacturing and have good interpersonal skills, you are the person we are looking for!
