Valérie and Mélissa Berger are Honorary Co-chairs of the Fundraising Campaign for the Expansion of Carrefour d’Initiatives Populaires
Berger is proud to announce that Valérie and Mélissa Berger will serve as honorary co-chairs of the fundraising campaign for the Carrefour d’Initiatives Populaires (CIP), which officially launched on February 25, 2026. This co-chairmanship reflects Berger’s ongoing commitment to the community, for whom contributing to the well-being of our communities lies at the heart of its values and actions.
A PROJECT SERVING THE COMMUNITY
The Carrefour d’Initiatives Populaires de Rivière-du-Loup officially launched today its major fundraising campaign to support an expansion project valued at more than $2.5 million. With the acquisition of the house adjacent to its current facilities, the organization will be able to increase its storage capacity, modernize its kitchens, and create safer, more accessible welcoming spaces—improvements that have become essential in response to steadily growing demand. These new facilities will also serve as a learning environment where users will be supported in developing greater autonomy, with assistance tailored to their needs.
