Berger Among the Top 100 Largest Quebec Companies Led by Women
Berger is proud to announce that its Co-Presidents, Mélissa and Valérie Berger, are featured in the very first annual ranking of the Top 100 Largest Quebec Companies Led by Women. This initiative by Les Affaires celebrates female leadership and recognizes those who inspire and transform Quebec’s economy.
This distinction not only illustrates the sustained growth of our organization but also continues a rich family legacy. Berger was founded in 1963 from the visionary dream of Ms. Huguette Théberge. Today, that same spirit lives on through her granddaughters, Mélissa and Valérie Berger, who have been serving as Co-Presidents since 2015.

“Being recognized is inspiring, but what motivates us above all is paving the way, creating positive impact, and building the future with conviction and humility. This recognition highlights the exceptional work of all our teams. It is through your commitment, passion, and desire to always do better that Berger continues to stand out.”
— Mélissa Berger
The ranking highlights the strategic role women play in Quebec’s economy. For Berger, it is a source of pride to see this female legacy continue to inspire the communities and environments in which we are involved.
“Together, we keep writing the next chapter. This recognition confirms that our leadership model built on trust and teamwork can take us far. To all those who build, who sometimes doubt but always keep moving forward, and who invest in people knowing that every person matters: Bravo! And thank you!”
— Valérie Berger
The company is delighted to continue its role as a leader in the horticultural industry, while continuing to inspire women who dream of leading and making the future blossom.
