We are pleased to introduce John Bergman as the new Grower Advisor in the Technical Services team. John will be available primarily to growers on the west coast. John grew up in a small family greenhouse in southern Minnesota. This is where he developed a passion for the horticultural industry. He has been a grower manager for over 30 years. He worked for Pan American Plant, Yoder Bros, Syngenta Flowers, and ran his own greenhouse for a few years. John has grown many different ornamental crops as a propagator, stock grower and at the finished stage. He has been responsible for production, clean stock and R & D applications. His wife is a flower breeder for Syngenta, his daughter is veterinarian and his son is attending college.
