François-Simon Robert, an agronomy graduate from Laval University, has expertise in soil sciences and horticultural production. After managing greenhouse tomato and pepper crops, he joined Berger in 2018 as an R&D project manager. His focus is on optimizing the use of wood fiber in growing media and developing substrates for soft fruit crops. Known for his precision agriculture advice and knowledge transfer activities, François-Simon has presented at international conferences and was honored with a “40 Under Forty” award in 2024 for his contributions.
