At Cedar Valley Nursery we use Berger Mixes in our production for several different reasons; most importantly we really like the consistency of the mix and the uniform growth. Berger BM7 helps reduce plant losses and production cost by holding moisture during the summer and winter months when plant stress can be at its highest.
In tree seedling and perennial production we have seen much healthier and quicker finish times compared to straight pine bark. When you ship plants into retail garden centers or box trees for shipping, the moisture holding capability is much appreciated.
