On February 26, 2020, at a press briefing held by the municipality of Saint-Modeste to unveil the new multi-purpose room and launch its fundraising campaign, Berger announced its involvement in the church transformation project. By way of recognition, the fully renovated premises will now be known as the “Espace Collectif Berger.”
Opening in spring, the refurbished facilities will include a multi-purpose room, stage, kitchenette, bar and new boardroom. The Espace Collectif Berger will be able to host shows, festive gatherings, small conferences and more, as well as providing a community space for the general public.
This partnership stems from the company’s desire to participate in the sustainability and outreach of the village where it was founded, as well as to provide the community with access to a space that can accommodate a wide variety of cultural activities.
Berger’s headquarters have been located in Saint-Modeste since 1963, and more than 250 employees work there on a daily basis. This made helping to make the area a better place to live all the more important, and this collaboration to transform the church was an obvious choice.
The multi-purpose room will undoubtedly become the best place for residents and organizations in Saint-Modeste to meet. We believe this type of establishment helps a municipality to remain a desirable and dynamic place for its current and future residents to live.
